Tanto las locomotoras eléctricas como las diesel-eléctricas y las unidades múltiples (EMU/DEMU) requieren una monitorización y control múltiple de la energía eléctrica. La serie de transductores P50000 se ha diseñado específicamente para aplicaciones en locomotoras y unidades múltiples para el reconocimiento de cortocircuitos, la supervisión y el control de motores y convertidores de tracción, convertidores auxiliares, baterías de acumuladores y otros. Una característica totalmente nueva es la flexibilidad que proporcionan los rangos de medición conmutables y una fuente de alimentación de amplio rango integrada.
