La massima flessibilità è ottenuta grazie a un nuovo concetto di alloggiamento, progettato specificamente per il materiale rotabile. Con alimentazione integrata ad ampio raggio e una combinazione unica di funzioni di sicurezza.

Le locomotive e le unità multiple elettriche e diesel-elettriche (EMU/DEMU) richiedono un monitoraggio e un controllo multipli dell'energia elettrica. I sensori di tensione e di corrente utilizzati a questo scopo devono soddisfare i requisiti speciali posti dalle operazioni ferroviarie.

Particolarmente importanti sono la protezione da incendi e fumi, la sicurezza elettrica e la resistenza a condizioni ambientali estreme, alle sollecitazioni meccaniche e alle influenze EMI.

La serie di trasduttori P50000 è stata progettata specificamente per applicazioni su locomotive e unità multiple per il riconoscimento di cortocircuiti, il monitoraggio e il controllo di motori di trazione e convertitori, convertitori ausiliari, batterie di accumulatori e altro. Una novità assoluta è la flessibilità offerta dai campi di misura commutabili e dall'alimentazione integrata ad ampio spettro.

Le certificazioni complete e la conformità agli standard ferroviari rendono i dispositivi la scelta ideale per le applicazioni ferroviarie.
